A 600ft jellyfish pattern has appeared in a barley field in Kingstone Coombes, Oxfordshire, in what is one of the most intriguing crop circles ever seen in Britain (from the Telegraph)

When George and Oliver Spence from Ashbury went searching for buried treasure nobody expected them to find anything more than a few coins and bottle tops. But the pair managed to strike it lucky when they unearthed a 19th Century French bayonet at the bottom of their garden (from the Swindon Advertiser)

A Belgian hare shown by Mr S Lewis of Swindon, won the Grand Challenge (adult) at the Ashbury and District Fur and Feathers Club rabbit show, held in the Jubilee Hall, Ashbury  (from the Swindon Advertiser).
