We are delighted to welcome back The Avebury Vocal Ensemble (AVE). The programme is a mix of choral pieces dating from the Baroque period to the twentieth century with highlights including the Allegri “Miserere” and excerpts from the Mozart and Faure Requiems. A choral version of Elgar’s “Nimrod” and a couple of popular operatic numbers of Verdi will also feature. The common factor for this apparent variety show is that every piece has been used as part of the soundtrack to a movie.
