The Village Hall comprises a stone vestibule which leads into a large hall measuring 21metres by 5metres that can accommodate maximum of 100 people seated theatre style and which has a raised dais at one end. A smaller self-contained meeting room measuring 3metres square, leads off the main hall and can seat up to 10 people. The building is heated and has a newly fitted kitchen with range cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, crockery, cutlery, glasses, etc. The men’s and women’s toilets were refurbished in 2014 when a new disabled toilet was added. The main hall has been completely refurbished in 2015 returning it to a more traditional look, exposing the original large end windows which now have secondary glazing and the roof space has been well insulated. The hall can be flexibly set up for meetings, performances, gardening shows, jumble sales and indoor games as well as private and public functions. A loop system is fitted in both rooms for the hard of hearing. There are 100 chairs, 12 trestle tables and 6 desk-like tables available for use. The hall is now a very suitable venue for private parties, special birthdays, anniversaries, christenings etc etc. We have everything you need – tables, chairs, crockery, glasses and cutlery for up to 100 people.
