The group working to improve the Village Green would like to share its outline plan for the space.  The sketch shows the basic layout we propose (the path to Pound Piece is shown at the left of the plan and the childrens’ playground at Wixes Piece at the right) with an area re-turfed to make a playing field, an extended path, more trees ( all native species) and a small mound near the playground.  In addition we want to include some exercise equipment (suitable for adults and children), a willow sculpture and a dog waste composting bin, but we haven’t yet decided the best positions for these.
